Canadians… I thought you could take a joke. See whenever things like that are said by Canadians (thinking of the in-laws, but their talking heads will do in a pinch) no one cares. That might actually be the reason they are so very offended when a man on a Comedy show at 3 am actually says something funny at thier exepense.
If you Canadians had actually been paying attention you would have noticed that the commentary pointed out the absuridy of a first world country putting itself in danger by not properly supporting the men and women who provide its defence. No, of course the Canadians wouldn’t see that at all. They choose to see instead Americans as being ungrateful that thier neighbors are so very generous.
We are allies and we will protect you if you need to stand down your forces. But if you can mock us for not keeping our house in order, surely we can mock you for the same.
